Green Turtle Bay - Turtles

Lots of friendly turtles at Green Turtle Bay Marina

Saturday we moved south of the canal in Lake Barkley and are anchored out in Nickell Bay.  It is quiet calm.

Wicket & I played in the water on the inflatable raft.

And for the record... Wicket fell into the lake for the second time, yesterday.  Bob hosed her down on the dock.  She likes to rub up against things when she's wet, so she must have been rubbing up against the dock and didn't realize she was on the edge.  Kerrrrplunk!  Bob turned around to see her dog paddling for her life.

It is so much fun to read your blogs! I talked to Don S. last night and he is hoping to be out of his wheelchair by Labor Day weekend. We came up with a good question. Are you staying there for the hurricane season? Last time I was on Saylorville met up with Bob from "Carefree" a Catalina 340. Nice man. Keep up the good work on the blog. Marc

Hey, Marc. Good to hear from you. Hope you are having a great summer. It's hard to believe Aug. 1 is tomorrow. We will be at Kentucky Lake area for about 3 weeks but then move on down the Tennessee to Picwick Lake. We will slowly progress south to Mobile, AL and hopefully we won't get down to Mobile too early. Hurricane season ends about Nov. 1.

Hey Susan Kay-- Wicket looks like he is up to NO GOOD in that picture--like he could attack at anytime. We love reading your blogs--you are so good with your desciptions (must be the teacher coming out) I really think that you could write a book and it would be so helpful to other retired boaters!!

Miss you-Love You!

Love the turtle video and pics!
Every turtle we have seen scoot away so fast I can't even get a pic!
Looks like you are having a lot of fun.
Enjoy your blog.
