Look what Bob came back with from the Marina. I will give it a month or so & then I'll report on how well it worked. At this point, I can report that it stinks almost as bad as "Stink" bait. The stink didn't last too long so I think I'll put up with the smell if it gets rid of the spiders.

I can't remember - do you have a rub rail on that boat or some kind of trim at the hull/deck joint? We had one on our old Compac 27 that was housing a million spider nests and once we sealed it will a little 4200 they all disappeared. We also got rid of a ton of unused rail hardware and covers that were housing them as well. Good luck!

We, too, have a PS25 and are avidly following your adventure. We do have a question. The boat doesn't have a lot of room. How are you handling your sleeping and cooking arrangements. We use Hotspur on the weekends. My wife gets the forward berth, I get the dinette, and the dog gets the quarter berth. That's ok for a night or two; but, how do you arrange things for weeks at a time?

John Henry - Hey, that is one of my nephew's name. So anyway, John, check today's post - Aug. 9th. I posted a video with shots of our v berth. Let me know if you have more questions. Our cockpit came custom designed from the factory with the small opening for the starter & stick shift (ok, I don't know what you call that) but then Bob built that panel to cover it up when we are not moving. Makes for a great lounging space.
Deb - no rub rail or trim on our boat where the spiders are getting in. There are not too many inside, yet, as far as I know. (One in the v berth)But I don't like them crawling around in my living room (cockpit) either. So far the "Spider Away" is doing a good job. Hope you are having some relaxing days on Lake Carlyle.
