Sunday in Dubuque

Everyone headed back to Des Moines on Sunday except Phil & Donna.  They were kind enough to haul us around again to some store where we needed to get some odds & ends/grocerys, etc.  When finished shopping we had a fantastic speedy ride on the Mississippi courtesy Donna's sister, Lynne and brother-in-law, Mike.  What fun and so nice of them to give us the tour of backwater's near Dubuque.

Phil, Donna, Mike and Lynne.  And if the speedy ride wasn't enough Mike & Lynne invited us to their place for supper after Phil & Donna headed for D.M.  With laundry to do and much needed recovery time, we had to pass on the invitation, but Mike & Lynne are truly a couple of sweethearts.  As it turned out, I woke Monday a.m. with a very sore throat and as of Friday June 10th, I am still fighting it off.  But a big thanks to Mike & Lynne.
