Susie's 20 inch walleye

I love fishing.  Caught this 21 inch walleye off the dock right near our slip.  It came in at 2.5 lbs and is now filleted and in the freezer for tomorrow nights supper. Yummm!

That was the fish I was looking for at Rathbun, It was a very soggy time. Arrived Wednesday night rigged 0530 Thursday morning sailed all day! Was even able to put my boat on "autopilot" for about a 7 mile reach accoring to the GPS. Rained all day Friday and was glad I have a good anchor because that night it got real bad. Saturday was able to dry out some and decided to come home a day early because of the weather. I was rather reluctant to do so. Rathbun and the Centerville are got hit hard on Sunday. Can't wait till the next time. Be nice to see some pics of heron under full sail. Marc

The problem with getting pics of Heron under full sail is, there is no one to leave on shore for taking the pictures. We plan to head south to Trempealeau, WI on Wed. and once we leave Lake Pepin we won't be putting the sails up again until Kentucky Lakes. Hopefully, your weather will turn around soon so you can get some good sailing weather. Glad to hear your sailing adventure on Rathbun.
