On Sat. April 6th we drove the 2.5 hours to San Diego. We attended a Harmonica festival in a city park. Really nice spot. We took our lawn chair and joined the locals. Several bands played for about 45 minutes each. One of our favorites is Jason Ricci. We have seen him 4 or so times over the years and it was so fun to hear him again.
After the festival we drove the 2.5 hours further up to L.A. to hang out with son, Heston.
It is always fun to see Heston, but it is hard for these small town Iowans to stay in L.A. for long.
